Derwent Lightfast pencils are oil based, opaque, smooth and creamy and provide a beautiful laydown of rich colour. The thick core gives a desne colour application. Colours are compatible with other mediums and pigments completely integrate to achieve new colour mixing. Colours can be dissolved using painting mediums and solvents to achieve paint effects.
